Brittany Edie

Counselor

Brittany Edie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and an approved LCPC Supervisor in the state of Maryland. She obtained her Master’s in Counseling from McDaniel College & completed a post-graduated certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy from Capella University. Additionally, Brittany is a registered yoga teacher with additional training in Trauma-Informed Yoga allowing her to approach therapy from a mind-body perspective.

Brittany has worked in public mental health since 2007 and joined the Crossroads Counseling team in 2016. She recognizes the importance of bringing Christ into the process of counseling and healing. Brittany has experience working with individuals & couples experiencing life transition / adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship related issues. She also provides marriage and premarital counseling.

When Brittany’s husband James and her children don’t have her time and attention, she integrates mind-body approaches in therapy as a trained yoga teacher at Graceful Balance, co-leads a military small group and assists with marriage ministry at Crossroads as needed.
