I was lucky enough to be raised in a Christian family. I was brought to church when I was a baby. That’s how I learned about our savior Jesus Christ.
When I was about six years old I remember talking with my dad about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He helped me pray and accept Jesus as my savior.
The main reason I want to get baptized is because I want to take that extra step to let everyone know that I follow Christ.
A verse I like from the Bible, because it reminds me I’m protected by God, is Psalm 118:6, “The Lord is for me; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
The Lord is for me and I can’t wait to show the people I love, and everyone else, that I’m for him too.
