At a very early age, I grew up in a christian home. My mother took me to church. I attended Sunday school where they taught me about simple things like Adam & Eve, God created them, and Moses and the 10 Commandments. Noah and the Ark and the Great Flood. Mary the mother of Jesus.
As I got older I was not made to go to church so I went through life living on my own self-will. Things were good for me and then I became addicted to alcohol. Life became not so good. I ended up in a recovery program for my addiction. I always believed in God. The program tells me to seek God. That’s what I’ve done, I attended the Hampstead campus of Crossroads, to be back in church and ask God for guidance.
This baptism represents me turning my life and will over to God and the Son of God Jesus Christ who died on the cross for all of our sins. I am grateful and blessed.
