This is What the LORD Says | Week 1:Sovereignty | Message Only

The Kingdom of Heaven operates on a different level than the world we live in and while we may conceptually understand this, sometimes it is difficult to live our lives with a Kingdom-minded view. These resources have been provided to assist you as you shift your way of living to more closely align with what Jesus has called us to.

Welcome to Week 1 of This Is What the Lord Says. In this Crossroads service, Reid Robinette takes us into Daniel 1:1–21 to explore the sovereignty of God and what it means to live faithfully in a culture that doesn’t always align with our beliefs. Through Daniel’s story and the words of Jeremiah 29:4–9, we’re reminded that God remains in control, even when those in power seem to be working against Him. Rather than simply adopting the culture around us or retreating from it, we’re called to live faithfully within it, seeking its good and reflecting God’s truth in the places He has positioned us.

Following Jesus is personal, but it isn’t private. Church isn’t something we’re meant to simply watch from a distance. We are invited to belong, gather, grow, serve, and follow Jesus together.

Wherever you are in your faith journey—even if you’re still deciding what you believe—there is a place for you here.
